How do I suggest a book/item for purchase?

We appreciate customer feedback and purchase suggestions. Whilst we do consider all suggestions, not all can be purchased. To suggest a title for purchase you can:

  • Visit your local library to complete a 'Customer Purchase Suggestion' form or,
  • Email a Librarian your request including: full title, author details, format (print, DVD, e-book etc) and ISBN, (if available), where you found out about the title, e. g. a particular review in the newspaper, TV program or bookshop) and why the item is a suitable addition and should be considered for inclusion in the collection.

All customer suggestions for item purchase are considered by Collection Services according to the Collection Development Statement (.pdf file), within collection development priorities and the collection budget.
